Sorry for wall of text/question, I'm just not sure what I should aiming for with the GTX1070. macos, linux, ios, and android, all crafted with three ambitions. Since I don't plan to change PCs every 2-3 years, should I go for better monitor with a better resolution or just buy a normal and wait for the gsync monitors drops in price in the coming years? Cost-effective Easy, secure and quick to install, Highly Durable, resilient geometry. At this point, I guess it's where gsync could come handy, but before that? Moreover, I have my current PC since almost 10 years now so I guess as the games will require more, I'm not sure the GPU will be able to keep on delivering 80-100fps+ in 2-3 years. So I guess I should go for 1440p over 144hz, am I right ?

I play some shooters (Overwatch and I'll get BF1) but I'm an old gamer, I don't have the reflex anymore to play on the competitive side. I was wondering what I should do with my GFX1070, I'm not too sure which I should prioritize ? Framerate or Resolution ? I'm not sure I can do another topic so hopefully, someone will be able to answer me here
